// the story

Set in a nameless town and following five different perspectives, the book unfolds a tale of mystery and horror. People go missing all the time in the world beyond colour pond, but here the numbers are strikingly high. Peoples last seen locations are headed down the main road that leads only to a woodland expanse. Why are people disappearing?

The town itself has been in decay for over a decade now. Independent shops are few and far between. Quick-build flats have been made to solve the terrible housing situation. Community dissolves like skin meeting acid. Lonely people in a grey, dull world try to find connection. And save the town.

A brief discription:

Down from atop the hill, deep in a local woodland, a house sits and waits. A stream trickles down through farmland and joins the town below.

A dirty soul wakes up from the woods. A child goes on the run. A detective reopens an old case. A drunk lover contemplates the nearing end. A nose hunts the abhorrent smells that spill down the farm hill.

Inside an unmoved, moveable home is a map being created, and all arrows lead to the woods.
