// endaltar

Endaltar is an ancient village. Originating as a druidic meeting ground for the tribesfolk of years passed, a spiritually unorganised exercise aimed at getting answers and fortune from the surrounding nature. The area has always been oddly dense. Tall and wide trees covered the hilly landscape, whilst the druids and witches sung their songs, buried their dead and spoke of love. It became culturally significant, a place to share wisdom of the land.

After some time, people began to set up homes. Dug holes became scaled stones, structures brought structure. And the once chaotic spirituality evolved into Oulganism. First, the Oulgans built a dome, as this sect would have trickled down from the north, sometimes called Wolgs, bringing their own ideals and designs. The southern Oulgans, sometimes called Yulgs, practise the belief of the pyramid, so thusly build tall, stone pyramids.

In the centre of Endaltar, surrounded by Yew and Oak, was a dome built, and the Oulgans kept learning and bringing wisdom to the surrounding area. The strongest beliefs to the Oulgans is connectivity and generational thoughts, teaching was a form spirituality, and the love that came with it. They would teach about the surrounding fugnus life, what to eat, what to drink, what to put on wounds. Plants and animals too were a large part of their life, believing that they were there for the people survival. All was connected, the herb was the same as the rabbit that was the same as the cook.

Eventually, when the connectivity sprouted, Oulgans ate what lived beside them less and less, animals would not be farmed or exploited, plants would not be cropped, but they would survive still, mostly off a fungus diet. Some people believe this led to vision from hallucinogenic mushrooms, leading to stronger beliefs in the collective spirituality. And in these moments, the Prastists came from afar, and took over the land. The dome became a Xolvunt, a Prasist place of worship. The tents and holes became houses, markets and bars. Roads were built. Lights too. Horseback became carriage became rotamotor.

Prastists, took over Endaltar, and yet some stories persist, and some practise the old ways, in secret.
